Israel has intensified its attacks against Lebanon, blasting the tarmac of Beirut's International Airport and imposing a naval

Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro is fighting for its life. Doctors say the famous colt has a potentially fatal disease, brought on by uneven weight distribution in its limbs(2，肢). Barbaro suffered catastrophic injuries in the Preakness back in May and doctors say his chances of survival are poor.

NFL quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says he nearly died following a motorcycle accident in Pittsburgh last month. The Pittsburgh Steelers' star says he was literally seconds from death after he rammed into a car. He'd been sighted for not wearing a helmet(4，头盔) and he says he's not sure whether he'll ride a motorcycle again.
